Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has indicated that Tyler Adams will miss yet another match for Bournemouth due to his back injury.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Cherries' Premier League match with Aston Villa at the weekend, their boss gave updates on the status of his squad. The Spaniard revealed that a handful of players are set to miss the match, handing his squad a blow.

The Cherries have had a rather solid stretch of form of late, with five wins and one draw in their last seven matches. Adams, meanwhile, last played 90 minutes against Everton in a clash on March 30, where he was named for his brilliant performance. However, he hasn't seen the pitch since, dealing with back spasms.
Despite not specifically mentioning Adams in his pre-match press conference, the USMNT captain has all but been ruled out of the match by Iraola.

The Cherries boss was asked if any of his current sidelined players will make the matchday roster against Villa, to which the Spaniard replied: “Some are getting closer but I don’t expect them for the Villa game, no.”
